In the past month, the Harlon Hockey League (HHL) has opened up to the international community. States from all around have came to form their own teams to compete.
Different from the Olympics, the HHL is a player-owned company that runs hockey games with a variety of teams rather than just national teams. According to the #transfers-season-2 channel on the HHL discord, these are the current teams:
- Harlon Huskies
- Westfield Hares
- Limaru Ligers
- Shoretrench Sailors
- Redmont Gliders
- Sealand Pirates
- Stratham Swingers
- Vindex Coyotes
- Reveille Rockets
Each team currently has three to four players.
The HHL is run as a registered partnership by Optimized_ and muffinbarde respectively. Funding comes from donations, sponsorships, personal financing, and potentially government grants. Currently, teams can make transfers up until January 28.
